Size Guide

Use the body measurements below to find your best fit. Measure yourself in underwear or close-fitting clothing, keeping the tape level and close to the body without pulling it tight.

These are body measurements, not garment measurements. You’ll find fit notes and what our model is wearing on each product page.

No need to size up. If you’re tall or need more length, you’ve probably got used to sizing up just to get the length. You shouldn’t have to here. The length is already built in, so take your true size. If you’re between two sizes, we’d try the smaller one first.

How to measure

12345

1. Bust
Around the fullest part of your bust, keeping the tape level across your back.

2. Waist
Around your natural waist, usually the narrowest part of your torso.

3. Hip
Around the fullest part of your hips and seat, keeping the tape level.

4. Inside leg
From the top of your inner thigh down to where you’d like your trousers to finish. Wear the shoes you’d usually pair them with, as this changes where the hem lands.

5. Arm
From the bone at the back of your neck, over your shoulder and down to your wrist, with your arm relaxed by your side.

Compare with a pair you love

The easiest way to check a fit is against something you already own. Lay a favourite pair of trousers flat and measure the inside leg, from the crotch seam to the hem. Then compare it with our inside leg of around 34 inches (86–87 cm).

Fit & length

Is LAFFUE just for tall women?
Not at all. There’s a misconception that you have to be tall to need more length. You might be 5’7” or 6’3”. You might have longer legs, a longer body or longer arms. If standard sizing has always been almost right, you’re in the right place.

Is it just trouser legs that are longer?
No. We extend everything in length and design for it from the start, so bodies and sleeves are longer too. It’s never just a few extra inches added to the end.

Understanding trouser length

Our trousers have a finished inside leg of approximately 34 inches (86–87 cm), depending on the style.

They’re also cut with a longer rise, so they sit lower on the leg and wear longer than the inside leg alone suggests. It’s worth looking at both measurements, not just one.

For now, each style comes in one generous length. We hope to add more lengths soon as we grow.

Satin: easy to take up with a tailor if you’d like them shorter.
Cashmere: can’t be shortened, but adjustable snaps at the hem let you change where they finish.
