Terms of service

These terms apply to every order you place on laffue.com. Please read them before you order. They don’t affect your legal rights as a consumer.

1. About us

laffue.com is operated by LAFFUE LIMITED, a company registered in Scotland (company number SC839300), trading as LAFFUE. Our business address is 42 Baronald Drive, Glasgow, G12 0HW, United Kingdom. Our VAT number is GB521654115. You can contact us at care@laffue.com for orders and returns, or hello@laffue.com for everything else.

2. Your order

When you place an order, you’ll receive an email acknowledging it. Our contract with you is formed when we send you an order confirmation email. We may decline an order, for example if a product is unavailable, if there’s an obvious error in the price or description, or if we can’t deliver to your address. If we decline your order after you’ve paid, we’ll refund you in full.

3. Pre-orders

Some pieces are sold on pre-order. You’ll pay in full when you order, and we’ll dispatch your piece once it arrives with us. The expected dispatch timing is shown on the product page and in your order confirmation. Dispatch dates are estimates and aren’t guaranteed. If there’s a delay, we’ll let you know straight away, and you can cancel your pre-order at any time before it’s dispatched for a full refund.

4. Prices and payment

Prices are shown in pounds sterling (or converted to your local currency at checkout) and include VAT where applicable. Delivery charges, and for orders outside the UK any import duties and taxes, are shown at checkout before you pay. If we discover an error in the price of a product you’ve ordered, we’ll contact you before your order is dispatched, and you can choose to continue at the correct price or cancel for a full refund.

5. Delivery

Delivery options, costs and timescales are set out in our Shipping policy. Your order is our responsibility until it has been delivered to you. If we can’t deliver within the timeframe we’ve given you (or, if we haven’t given one, within 30 days of your order), you can cancel and receive a full refund.

6. Your right to cancel and returns

You can cancel your order at any time from when you place it until 14 days after you receive it, and then return your pieces within a further 14 days. Full details, including fees, condition and how refunds work, are in our Return and refund policy. Customers in the EU can also use our EU Withdrawal Form.

7. Faulty or incorrect items

We’re required by law to supply goods that are as described, of satisfactory quality and fit for purpose. If an item is faulty or not as described, you may be entitled to a refund, repair or replacement under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, including a full refund if you tell us within 30 days of delivery. Please email care@laffue.com with your order number and a photo.

8. Product information

We do our best to show our pieces accurately, but colours can vary slightly between screens, and small variations in measurements are normal in garment making. Please check the size guide and measurements on each product page before ordering.

9. Our responsibility to you

If we fail to comply with these terms, we’re responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breach or our failure to use reasonable care. We’re not responsible for loss or damage that isn’t foreseeable. We supply our products for domestic and private use only, and we aren’t responsible for any business losses. Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything that can’t be limited or excluded by law, including your statutory rights.

10. Events outside our control

We’re not responsible for delays caused by events outside our reasonable control, such as supplier or carrier delays, strikes or extreme weather. If this happens, we’ll let you know and do what we can to minimise the delay. If there’s a significant delay, you can cancel and receive a refund for anything you’ve paid for but not received.

11. Intellectual property

All content on this site, including images, text, logos and designs, belongs to LAFFUE LIMITED or is used with permission. Please don’t copy or reuse it without our written consent.

12. Your information

We use your personal information only as set out in our Privacy policy.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The terms that apply to your order are the ones shown on our site when you placed it.

14. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by Scots law. If you live in England, Wales or Northern Ireland, you can also bring proceedings in your local courts. If you live in the EU, you’ll also benefit from any mandatory consumer protections in the country where you live.
